Rainbow City Productions is a multimedia organization with a mission to influence, shape and reflect culture by connecting targeted hotels, brands, cruises and entertainment venues with LGBTQIA talent, with a focus on comedy, drag and music.
Founded in 2019 by Craig Appelbaum during the pandemic where a space for LGBTQIA and diverse lineups was missing. Craig began to cull the city for the best talent.
Beginning with a weekly show at the famed Eagle Bar in Silverlake, the real began to naturally broaden to clients such as The W Hotel, Hotel Zoo (Palm Springs) and West Hollywood itself. The next natural step was to start working with drag queens.
We connect our clients to opportunities with LGBTQIA artists across entertainment, media and business.

Craig Appelbaum
CEO Craig Appelbaum has ushered in and curated successful live comedy shows such as his hit weekly show at famed Eagle LA - where you might find such celebrities as Dojo Cat and John Waters sipping at the bar, and by which LA Times reporter remarked: I love Craig’s diverse lineups.
Drag and comedy nights sponsored by City of West Hollywood, featuring RuPauls Yvie Oddly (winner of S11 of RuPaul's Drag Race) Pandora Boxx (S2 of RuPaul's Drag Race) Joella (S17 of RuPaul's Drag Race) as well as four monthly shows in Palm Springs, and monthly and weekly shows in Silverlake and Hollywood.
CEO and lawyer Craig Appelbaum partners with hotels to leverage his experience with culling and spotlighting the best LGBTQIA talent the industry has to offer. Currently he is working with The Ace Hotel, and Palm Springs, W Hotels, Hotel Zoso Palm Springs.

Craig serves as the bridge between management and sponsor bringing his eye for art, culture and LGBTQIA performance to every project he serves on, offering the perfect blend of laughs, lewks, and fun.
